Ugly duckling downstairs washrooms to get Swan renovation!
Current state of our washrooms.
A partial renovation of the downstairs washrooms and change rooms will start this week.
The shower is temporarily closed…Renovations start this week.
This work will consist of re-tiling the showers in both change rooms and replacement of the ceiling in the women's change room, plus some other smaller renos and a general redecoration and cleanup.
The Vice Commodore has been planning the renovation for some time.
Please respect the workers equipment and tools and do not enter or try to use the downstairs washrooms or change rooms during the renovations, the upstairs change and washrooms are open for your use. The west workshop will also be used by the renovation contractor during this period but access to the coop locker will be available.
The showers will be completely rebuilt.
We expect the renovations will be completed during the next 4 or 5 weeks and prior to start of sail training in early April. Note also that the water supply to the rest of the club may be turned off for short periods during this time.
