Club lunch cruises usually run every second Saturday over the sailing season - schedule is below and in the calendar. All members and craft are welcome. Group cruises are a good opportunity for new sailors to get on the water with more experienced members and to learn about sailing around West Vancouver and English Bay.

A reminder email will be sent a few days in advance to members of the Club Cruising mailing list, which will include a link to reserve your favorite Co-op sailboat as well as the designated trip leader. Stay tuned to the list for updates.

Plan to meet at the club at 10am, launch around 11am and be back by 3pm. Aside from Jericho crossings, the destination will be decided on the day depending on conditions. Common destinations are Dundarave, West Bay, Sandy Cove and Caulfield (all have washrooms).

• Guests (as crew) are welcome but must sign the Adult Waiver Form or Junior Waiver Form

• Dress for the conditions and bring a lunch, PFD, whistle, cell phone or VHF radio if you have one

• All boats must have a bailer, tow line and paddle. Do not forget to put in the drain plug!

• Different boats travel at different speeds so gather just off the Dundarave pier to determine final destination

Cruises to Jericho Beach are very popular and scheduled in advance with a safety boat escort. The Galley Patio & Grill at Jericho Sailing Club has good food and a deck with a great view but does not permit bag lunches.
