Special General Meeting Notice to all members.

Notice of Special General Meeting and Special Resolution

To: The members of Hollyburn Sailing Club (the “Society”)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the Society Act of British Columbia (the “Act”) and the Bylaws of the Society, that a Special General Meeting of the Society will be held on Sunday March 14th at 11:00 am via Zoom, for the following purposes:

1. To consider, and if thought fit, to pass a special resolution requiring the majority of two-thirds of such members entitled to vote as are present at the meeting.

Virtual meeting invitations, SGM package and rules will be sent out by email by February 28, 2021.

Commodore’s Note: Due to an error in vote counting at the Annual General Meeting on November 22, 2020 (specifically the two-thirds threshold for Special Resolution #4 was not met when including all who were present at the Zoom Webinar). As a result, at the AGM, Item #6, A member motion to amend a Bylaw was, incorrectly, not considered.
