Coop Rowboat ready to row.

Dressed in Hollyburn Blue, the refurbished Coop Rowboat is ready to row.

Our Coop Captain is happy to announce that the Coop Rowboat is ready for use.

Thanks to members Matt and Mike, the Coop rowboat is now ready for use.

As detailed in the last edition of “The Spreader”, in the “In the Workshop” section, member Matt removes the daggerboard case and prepares the gunnels. A few fiberglass repairs later, the rowboat is ready for painting.

She looks rough, but, all of the fiberglass repairs have been done. Needs a coat of HSC blue.

We put some paper down to catch the drips and keep the Vice Commodore happy.

Hull and buoyancy tanks painted. The seats have been given many coats of varnish. An HSC sticker has been varnished onto the stern seat.

The inside gets a coat of HSC blue, too.

Our HSC pennant gets painted on the stern.

Seats installed, gunnels oiled, oars painted and ready to go.

The Coop Rowboat is ready to row. Thanks to Matt and Mike for volunteering to do the refit.

She is waiting for a Coop member to take her out!

Her current storage spot is under the Cat. She is on tires and needs a club dolly to move. Her oars are in the Coop locker. Please remember to sign the Coop log and disinfect all Coop equipment after use. When you sign her out, please remember to take a bailer or pump.
