Register now for spring race teams
Registration is now open for spring Race Team training. There are levels for anyone who is interested in honing their racing skills.
Forecasting what the spring race team (April-June) is going to look like at this time is difficult. It is possible that by April we will only be able to do single-handed sailing as we are now, and it is possible that by April we can expand our programs - we will make the best judgment when more time has passed.
However, we are releasing our current plan now. Though they may change, we encourage everyone to sign up now, with the reassurance that if HSC has to cancel our programs due to COVID-19, or you have to cancel your registration due to a personal COVID-19 related reason, you will be issued a refund based on the number of days sailed. You will also have the option to request a full refund if we have to change the schedule before April. The options for our current spring programs are listed below. We have limited spots this year so please sign up soon to secure a spot.
Team: Junior Team
Time: Mondays, 3:45 - 6:00, April 04 - June 27th.
Price: $370
Description: Monday Juniors is a team for younger athletes (ages 7-10) to build foundational sailing skills.

Team: Foundational Development Team
Time: Thursdays, 3:45 - 6:00, April 08 - June 23rd.
Price: $375
Description: Foundational Development Team is for older athletes (11-15) to build foundational sailing skills.

Team: Racing Development Team
Time: Wednesdays, 3:45 - 6:00, April 06 - June 22nd.
Price: $375
Description: Racing Development Team is for athletes to build foundational racing skills. This team will not focus on obtaining levels but will teach anyone with basic sailing skills looking to get into racing.

Team: Senior Race Team (Lasers)
Time: Tuesdays 3:30 - 6:00, Sundays 11:00-4:00, April 6th - June 20th.
Price: $270 for training, $140 for charter
Description: Senior race team is for athletes willing to commit 3 days a week to become better racers. The Senior Race Team focuses on higher-level racing, so racers should be able to demonstrate foundational sailing skills. There are club Lasers available for charter.

Time: Friday 3:45 - 6:15, Sundays 11:00-4:00, April 9th - June 19th.
Price: $270 for training, $130 for charter
Description: Senior race team is for athletes willing to commit 3 days a week to become better racers. The Senior Race Team focuses on higher-level racing, so racers should be able to demonstrate foundational sailing skills. There are club RS Feva’s available for charter.

Time: Tuesdays 3:45 - 6:15, Saturday 11:00-4:00, April 6th - June 18th.

Description: Senior race team is for athletes willing to commit 3 days a week to become better racers. The Senior Race Team focuses on higher-level racing. Racers must have their own 29er to participate on this team. There are no 29er charter options available at this time.
