Rear Commodore cleaning up

Jan-2nd-work-party-3.jpg

Our new Rear Commodore, Antje, started 2021 out with a quiet work-party to cut-up and remove two derelict boats from the yard.

This is what happens to “derelict” boats in the yard!… So that is what the inside of a laser looks like.

With Covid restrictions being what they are, One member volunteered to cut-up and remove two boats from the yard. The “dead” inflatable that had been stored in the North-East corner of the yard and a coop Laser that had seen better days.

Neither boat was considered to be useable and it would have been unsafe to sell or give the boats away.

If you are able to devote a little time to help the Rear Commodore with some yard work, please send her an email to rearcommodore@hollyburnsailingclub.ca
