Sophie Cheshire is a student at Capilano University and an ambassador for the Howe Sound Biosphere Region Initiative Society (HSBRIS). In 2021 she left behind a 15-year career in the retail industry to pursue her love for the environment. It was this choice that led her to be introduced to HSBRIS. She hopes to build a future career in the non-profit world, collaborating with local communities and cultivating partnerships.
