Mast Rack Clean-up.
Hello Members,
Antje, our Rear Commodore, is doing a Mast rack cleanup.
This is the last notice to sailing dinghy owners about mast rack cleanup.
All unlabelled spars have been removed from the mast rack along the staircase on the east side of the clubhouse. Thank you to everybody who labelled their mast and boom.
Next steps:
1. Please check whether any of the removed spars are yours by May 1st, 2021. The shorter spars are in the Coop Laser rack and longer spars are on the ground next to that rack and in front of the other Laser racks (see photos).
2. If you find your mast or boom, please label it with your name or boat sticker # before putting it back into the mast rack.
3. Make sure your spars are well secured in the mast rack. If they fall on the carbon fibre boats in the kayak rack across from the mast rack, you may cause damage worth thousands of dollars.
After May 1st, 2021, any unlabelled spars may be sold, given away or recycled.
If you have any questions or concerns, please send me an email at rearcommodore@hollyburnsailingclub.ca .
Thank you for your help with this!
