Coop Potluck Season Launch

After a wonderful afternoon of paddling….

The HSC Coop had a successful season’s launch event on Victoria Day with a Paddling for Perogies. A meal to sustain a long paddle. 

The HSC Coop Social Committee Janice Zaharko and Luiza Urbanczyk drew on their respective Ukrainian and Polish backgrounds and prepared perogies with of course plenty of sour cream, fried onions and fried mushrooms to go with the kobasca and sauerkraut

Butter was not spared!  Luiza expertly rinsing the sauerkraut. As well, wonderful contributions were made by members to round out the meal.

 Janice and Luiza looked forward to planning more events and preparing tasty delights drawing on the diversity of our membership. Watch for the postings!!
