Canada Day is one of the most popular race days in the HSC calendar and this year was no exception as we had 8 boats on the water for a total of 4 races. We had a good steady 6 knot breeze out of the east and almost flat water for the racing, perfect for racing. Our race committee decided on a shorter two lap course that provided more close quarter racing and faster races. All the races were extremely close with no more than a hand full of seconds separating boats on corrected time. Congratulations to Andy Lumb for his overall victory, to Carolyn Drugge for her extraordinarily close second place and to Ian Darling for the fastest single race time. Finally a congratulations is due to the race committee for running an excellent regatta.
